Absentee Voting
To Vote Absentee by Mail:
If you are unable to vote in person on March 2, vote absentee by mail!
You can vote absentee by mail for a number of reasons including if:
- You will be away from Fairfax County for business or vacation
- You expect to be working/commuting for 11 hours or more between 6 am and 7 pm.
- You are sick or disabled
- You are a student attending college or other school outside of Fairfax County
Voting absentee by mail is easy:
- Click here, print out, and mail in the application to the Fairfax County Office of Elections. Remember—your application must be received no later than 5:00 PM on Tues., Feb. 23, 2010. The earlier you get it in, the better!
- When you receive your absentee ballot in the mail, vote for Sandy Evans and send it back in. Your ballot must be received no later than 7:00 PM on Election Day, March 2, 2010
- Applications and ballots should be mailed to Fairfax County Office of Elections, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 323, Fairfax, VA. 22035.
Please encourage your neighbors, colleagues, and children to vote for Sandy Evans. We expect a very low turnout for this election, so your vote counts.
If you want to vote early and in person, you may do so at the Office of Elections at the Fairfax County Government Center, 12000 Government Center Parkway, Suite 323, Fairfax, VA. 22035. Dates/hours for early, in-person voting:
- Mon-Fri. 8 am to 6 pm, Feb. 5 through Feb. 26. (Closed Mon., Feb. 15)
- Sat., Feb. 27, 9 am to 5 pm (last day of early in-person voting).
